[for many]
This is not an EP, I just don't have the energy. However, threads need to happen between Harkness and The Doctor (with a bit of Chase to solve that puzzle), Cuddy, Daniel and Ianto (together or seperate), Ace, and always House. So...top level and we'll thread and that way they'll all be in a tidy bundle for me to NOT DROP!
Jack was there, at the door. Waiting. He wasn't quite what to sure, or how long it had been, but ever since Halloween he had either been smoking pot ot House had been shooting him up with something to keep the dreams under control. He didn't know where to turn, so he played an insane game of ring-around-the-rosies and it had lead him to this door.
Now all he needed was an idea of what to say.

Now, when she opened the door and saw Jack standing in the hallway, a fierce rush of emotions rushed across her face. Surprise, relief, fear, and a few more that she didn't quite want to identify.
It..maybe..
"Jack?" Her voice was just as much a turmoil as her expression.

"Yeah?" he agreed, eyebrows arching high as he ducked his chin a little. "Shouldn't it be?"

She didn't want to say what she had thought, but her eyes faltered slightly.

Well, tired or stoned or shattered.

"Hi," he said to the Doctor...to the ground, since he was bent over. As he straightened up, the neck of his shirt gapped open enough to reveal bandages. "Am I bothering you? I could come back."

"Jack? What are you doing?" he called out as he noticed the strange, circular motions. He hadn't seen Jack since... that day in the rec room. Yet another thing that seemed like a lifetime ago, though it wasn't that long.

Daniel had been surprised when he'd heard the knock. Ianto generally walked right in and Daniel hadn't been expecting anyone else. And then he saw Jack.
"You're back."
He presumed that House had told Jack about Daniel's visit, so he didn't bother explaining how he knew that Jack had left.
"Are you...? You look..." He licked his lips and took a few steps back. "Come in. I'm afraid there's no real place to sit down." He nodded at the bed. "Although you could probably drown in that."

The swath of skin...and bandages...and welts...multiplied until the shirt was gone and Jack whispered, "What did she do to me, Daniel?"
no subject
"Holy hell," he murmured, hand reaching out and touching one of the welts. They looked...self-inflicted and Daniel didn't like that. He didn't like that at all.
"Sit down, Jack, and tell me what in the hell has been going on since I last saw you."
no subject
"Shedid something. In my head, she opened something or undid something and I...I don't know who I am. Except for who I am right here, right now. I don't know where I came from and I can feel something. I...itch."
That wasn't quite right, but it was the only way he could describe it.

She sounded worn down. Like she'd been captive for weeks, even though she'd imposed it on herself.
She'd showered, at least. It was the one or two things she'd been doing regularly. More then regularly, perhaps. Sleeping was the other.
Not eating. Food... food wasn't that important.
And she was reading. Or had been, until Jack was standing in her doorway.

"Sorry," Jack said sotly, looking at his feet.
no subject
"How're things?"
no subject
"Ace, you know what I told you abot that woman? Adria? She...did something," he said quietly. Sedate.
The fact that he utterly reeked of pot explained that.
"I...don't think it's safe to be around me. But...but I need...Ace? Help me?"
