He'd slept most of the day away, but by dinner he was up, clean, and mostly coherant. It was a good thing he didn't do that sort of thing very often--it helped in the short term, but like everyone who had an opinion they were willing to give voise to, it didn't actually help anything.

Jack sat in the kitchen, flipping through his book on synaptic relays, finding it a little more difficult to understand, but not by much. He was going to get back to working on the TARDIS as soon as he could, but life was getting in the way. ITF, Cole's musical, Tosh, John, trying to have a social presence, and now there was this whole strip club thing.

Keeping busy definitely worked better than getting stoned, that was certain.

This is not an EP, I just don't have the energy. However, threads need to happen between Harkness and The Doctor (with a bit of Chase to solve that puzzle), Cuddy, Daniel and Ianto (together or seperate), Ace, and always House. So...top level and we'll thread and that way they'll all be in a tidy bundle for me to NOT DROP!

Jack was there, at the door. Waiting. He wasn't quite what to sure, or how long it had been, but ever since Halloween he had either been smoking pot ot House had been shooting him up with something to keep the dreams under control. He didn't know where to turn, so he played an insane game of ring-around-the-rosies and it had lead him to this door.

Now all he needed was an idea of what to say.

Jack and Chase were on the beach, talking for the first time in a while.

"I'm not avoiding you, Rob," he said, unable to keep from touching him. "Say what you want to say."
