This is not an EP, I just don't have the energy. However, threads need to happen between Harkness and The Doctor (with a bit of Chase to solve that puzzle), Cuddy, Daniel and Ianto (together or seperate), Ace, and always House. So...top level and we'll thread and that way they'll all be in a tidy bundle for me to NOT DROP!


Jack was there, at the door. Waiting. He wasn't quite what to sure, or how long it had been, but ever since Halloween he had either been smoking pot ot House had been shooting him up with something to keep the dreams under control. He didn't know where to turn, so he played an insane game of ring-around-the-rosies and it had lead him to this door.

Now all he needed was an idea of what to say.

"Nothing to pry into," he lied smoothly, proving his earlier point. He looked at Wilson for a moment, then another, then another until the silence between them was nearly palpable.

"Are you sure you don't want to go to bed with him again?"

That question troubled him. He'd asked it more than once. After a little while, Wilson shook his head. "Maybe my answer would have been different a while back, but I need somebody who'll treat me as an equal. I deserve that."

None of which meant they didn't love each other, but it did mean they couldn't be in an ongoing sexual relationship.

Jack nodded in understanding. "He's always on top. Unless he's really drunk," he said. A niggling little voice told him he souldn't be talking about this. That Greg didn't appreciate Jack being so...forthright. Ever since the radio show with Maureen, he'd kept quiet.

And then there was the joint, and that niggling little voice was so, so very quiet.

wiggling his fingers toward the joint, because if they were going to talk about sex, Wilson thought they should both be a little farther gone. "Not always." he said, goofing a little. "He just likes it, being on top, an' so do I. So, yeah. It wouldn't work." He thought about it for a second. "Being on the bottom is for special occasions."

He passed the joint, snickering a little. "He's the only one I'll do it for. Well...and the Doctor, before that went to shit."

"I let Simon fuck me, before he disappeared. Felt really good." Wilson inhaled and was glad he had more of the good stuff stashed away from his long hike shortly before Halloween.

"Variety was never really a problem," Jack replied, the snickering becoming a giggle. "Monogamy. Now that's a bitch."

"I'm never very good at it, either," Wilson admitted. "Too many new people out there, to learn them, how they respond." His eyes glazed over, thinking of the people he'd enjoyed pleasing in the past. "That's the thrill of it. I guess some people don't get that."

Jack snorted, then started to chuckle. "Yeah. Some people," he managed to laugh. Greg had an idea of how hard it was for Jack to keep himself in check, and as much as he said he didn't want Jack to change...

Everybody lies. It always came back to that.

"It's just... just... monogamy's unnatural. There's even a study!" Not that any of his wives had bought that argument. Wilson laud a hand on his own cheek and leaned into it. "This might sound weird, but I mean it. I'm glad it's not just me with that, um, thing."
