It was snowing. No, not just snowing...it was howling. It was a full on winter storm unlike anything he'd seen this time of year. On one hand, it was nice that the island hadn't become predictable, but on the other...it was fucking cold. Jack made sure the windows were sealed as well as could be and that Linus and Dulcita were inside with them. The little stove that hardly got used had wood burning in it. Jack could always get more for his little projects. He wasn't keen on freezing to death. Even with the small fire, he still had put on more clothes, finally caving and pulling his great coat on as well.

The other room was warmer, having been insulated to keep the sounds from getting out. He hadn't yet told Logan that the cold temperature and gray skies had given way to a snow storm. He simply readied the rest of the hut and waited for the other man to come out from working on whatever it was he was trying to finish.
