MAJOR S2 spoilers.

Episode 1 = Separation Anxiety

Captain John (James Marsters) a rogue time agent and past lover of Jack's, arrives in 21st century Cardiff. Whilst trying to encourage Jack to go back to his old ways, he tries to kill, injure or manipulate other members of the team.
This episode is apparently seen through the eyes of Captain John, who views the whole Torchwood team as being sexy. When Jack first returns to Torchwood, the team are initially upset with him. His first encounter with Captain John is violent as well as sexy and could involve a drunken fight. Ianto’s stopwatch plays a useful role.

Episode 2 = Sleeper ???

Tosh falls in love with a man from World War 1, who's fallen through time. The team have to send him back to his own time because of the opened rift, putting his life at great risk as a result.

Episode 3 = To the Last Man???

Episode 4 = Another Working Day???

The team are to investigate a terrorist cell?

Episode 5 = Adam???

A memory thief uncovers long lost secrets from all of the team.

Adam may be a childhood friend of Jack’s. We may see Jack re-live the death of his father.

Episode 6 = Reset (Part 1)

Two members of the team experience an alternate reality, where they see how their lives could have played out had they taken different paths. One will be Owen.

Episode 7 = Death comes to Torchwood (Part 2)

A series of mysterious deaths occur and Martha is called in to help.

Martha initially causes a little tension within the team. She will spend most of her time with Jack and Owen, has a feisty relationship with Owen and causes Ianto to feel a little jealousy over how close she may have got to Jack. The aliens involved may be called the Pharm.

Episode 8 = Day in the Death Of... (Part 3)

Martha's help is needed when something life changing happens to a member of the team.

Almost definitely Owen or Gwen.

Episode 9 = Wedding

A wedding takes place, obviously!!!!!

Episode 10 = From out of the Rain

Episode 11 = Adrift

Episode 12 = Prequel???

Cardiff is visited by black and white movie people from the 1920's, who appear out of moving film.
This episode is apparently quite frightening.

Episode 13 = Spaceship Under Bay

The return of Captain John

At some point during this episode, Jack is subjected to a violent attack.

Martha's appearing in 3 episodes running and one of her reasons for being around is either -

a) Owen's morphing into an alien
b) Gwen's pregnant with an alien baby.

General Spoilers

Jack’s family may make an appearance in 2 episodes, possibly his brother.
The weevils will make an appearance in several episodes.
The relationship between Jack and Ianto is further developed.
There's a lot of alien influence in the new series
Owen experiences a traumatic event during the middle of the series.

Ianto starts a new relationship, rumoured to be with a female character back in May.

It was rumoured Owen would get a boyfriend back in May.
U.N.I.T will be making an appearance in a dramatic scene involving Tosh

One episode appears to involve Ianto coming to Jack’s aid during a weevil hunt.
The team get closer to each other during the new series.

There may be a scene where Gwen shows Rhys where she works
