more_flexibleSince yesterday had been hard on her, Jack decided to go all out. The hut was back in form. With only his things, it seemed empty, but he'd gotten a bed from Ianto and moved things around a bit. Overall, it looked just about like it had when he'd loaned it to Karen.
He set up some food and candles and the record player, then walked to Nancy and Beverly's hut to pick her up, collecting a bouquet of flowers on the way. Who said he couldn't do romantic? It wasn't like he was going to treat it like nothing. But, like he'd told her, it wasn't everything.
Just a date that would end up with her naked and sweaty and sated. Eight months was far too long in his opinion.
Tux and flowers, jack looked good when he knocked on her door.
