Waking up at House's place,House and Jack figure out quickly what's going on. They also find a very good use for the piano.
They go in to PPTH and learn about the case, Jack pretends to be a childhood friend who is a plastic surgeon in LA...and as big of an ass as House.
Jack and Cameron go to lunch, then she returns without him and the team runs the diagnosis.
With the team off running tests, Jack returns to House's office. They talk, then go to check on the biopsy and House gets stoned on anasthesia. Jack takes him to the commisary for a snack.
Returning to the second floor, House assigns Chase the job of checking out the kid's home. He's told to take 'Dr. Harkness'.
They check out the place, and Chase is hostile, thinking Jack's here to take his job. Meanwhile, the biopsy results don't make sense. The kid has liver cells in his lymph nodes.
Jack has Chase drop him off at House's apartment. He waits for House to return with pizza and beer, but Cameron arrives and House goes back to PPTH, having figured out the puzzle.
House and Jack return to 221B. Jack admits to House how 'inspiring' watching him work is. Then the next morning they wake up and take off to New York, where they blow all of House's money since it's all fake anyhow. They check into a fancy hotel, eat steak, go to jazz clubs, and generally enjoy all the luxuries of New York 2005. Oh, and there's a hooker. And Vicodin.
