[for ianto]
Apr. 15th, 2008 10:14 pmHe'd told House he just needed some time to think. He hadn't been back to the hut since Friday afternoon. Oh, he'd been 'around'...he'd been on the beach when that new guy showed up, and he'd checked in on Tosh and talked to Ace. He'd kept to the jungle, but close. He hadn't felt like hiking to the other side of the mountain and roughing it. Getting away from people wasn't going to help. The one person he needed to get away from was himself...and that just wasn't going to happen.
It was after dark and he was tired. In no mood to return to the hut and tell House he hadn't figured out anything at all, he found himself instead at a familiar, inviting place. Ianto's hut. Just Ianto's now. Banon began to bark, sharp and irregular, announcing his presence. He took a breath and knocked twice, then simply opened the door. No one had locks. No one needed locks.
Not as if locks had ever stopped him before.
"Ianto?" he asked before even seeing him. He knew he was here. Banon was at his heels, begging for attention. He tolerated her for a moment, leaned over to pet her, then said softly, "Where is he, baby?"
