Jack dropped off the oysters to the kitchen as promised, still fresh enough to be eaten raw if anyone wanted to. He'd dashed to the laundry and picked out some dry clothes from the box and found a little bag for the pearls. Overall, he probably wasted a quarter of an hour making his way back to the shower to meet the Doctor. He could feel the salt dried in his hair and his back was sticky with it, not to mention his hands smelled of shell fish. A shower wasn't the worst idea ever.

"I never would have noticed," the Doctor said wryly, then looked down at himself. "God, you're right, I look awful."

"You'll get it back. Eat, exercise. We can swim and things," he said lightly as he tossed the trunks aside and turned the water on, rinsing the salt off in the initial cold spray.

The Doctor winced at the cool water, trying to use it to ignore the shock that went through his body when he saw Jack naked. "Define 'and things'."

He shrugged and moved out of the way of the water once it had warmed up. "We could help build things. I still need a hut and Leoban is rebuilding his church."

As he spoke he took up the soap and rolled it between his hands before setting it aside and lathering the Doctor's chest. "Are you sore?"

"Ace and I were going to build a treehouse. Perhaps we will yet. But helping's always the modus operandi, isn't it..." The Doctor closed his eyes and leaned his head against Jack's shoulder, cheek brushing his neck. "And not so much, anymore. Mostly tired, throat still hurts."

He slipped his arms around the Doctor, holding him close as he reached for the washrag and lathered it as well. Hands and cloth mapped his back, carefully moving over his spine to not hurt the skin that felt like it was directly over bone.

"A treehouse would be nice. In with the birds and things," he said softly, letting the steam and hot water soak them both.

"Wouldn't want them getting in, though," the Doctor said quietly, leaning back into his touch. Geisha? In Kyoto? The Doctor was beginning to doubt his doubts.

"Might not have any choice. You'd be building in their home, right?" he murmured. Jack took a step back and pulled the Doctor with him so the water wasn't undoing his work right away. Nimble fingers worked into tired muscles that were weak and pliant. Up each side under shoulder blades, then up higher to his neck, Jack scrubbed and massaged, rubbed and petted from hairline to thigh over the gentle curve of the Doctor's ass, being nothing but professional.

"I wouldn't build on top of their..." the Doctor let out a long sigh and leaned further into him. "Space. I'd open negotiatio--did you really learn this that one time in Kyoto?"

"I might have spent a little more time in Japan than just that one time in Kyoto," Jack whispered in his ear before pushing him back just a little and moving around behind him. Arms slid under arms as he began to wash the Doctor's chest and neck.

Naked and wet and pressed against his back, it was impossible to pretend he didn't want the Doctor. His fingers slid across ribs and stomach as he washed lower, only the sound of the water beating on tile and flesh accompanied his breathing.

"Country's old enough, I should have known," the Doctor replied.

Bit unprofessional, that whole business behind him. But the Doctor didn't really care anyway, and did the only thing that made sense at the moment. He slid his ass back up, then down against him...

He chuckled softly and pressed his nose and lips to the back of the Doctor's neck. He pulled his hips back to keep from taunting the man as he pressed palms to thighs and fell to his knees, sliding his body down the Doctor's. Fingertips skimmed past the seam where legs met body and he worked down to his knees, then to his feet as he knelt on the shower floor.

Water rained down on him, soap bubbles swirling away dow the drain, and Jack looked up. He rolled the soap in his hands again and pushed them up the backs of the Doctor's thighs, then to the inside in a subtle invitation to spread his legs.
