Would this shit ever end? First Adria and Daniel, then Ace and Jamie, and now...now he had to go find Ace since she'd said goodbye and run off. Jack knew her enough to know that if she'd be anywhere, she'd be in dino territory, thinking she could handle it herself.

He came back from the clinic with the nanos and laid them on the bed, then started to get dressed in his leathers. He'd get the guns ready last, then head out. Jamie could take care of the regular jungle.

Jack would find Ace.

Jack crossed the perimeter of dino territory, Padfoot at his heels. The dog was good for a lot of things, and finding people in the jungle was one of the more useful. Jack wasn't going to fuck around with waiting to hear an explosion to locate his girl.

"Go get her," he encouraged, tromping through the undergrowth with his rifle at the ready.
