Upon further thought, maybe sparring in New Atlantis with Captain Thrace hadn't been the greatest idea.Jack had stopped at the kitchen to get some ice for his jaw and moved a little slower than usual. He was sore. He figured Thrace wasn't even as half as sore as he was. He'd landed a few good shots but nothing like her. And here he'd thought he wasn't bad. Oh, but she was good.She was trained. And, he thought, she had the benefit of being pissed off.

He came in the hut and sat down at the kitchen table with a low groan. He felt like he didn't want to move again.

"When I fight, it's because someones giving me shit, not to get my rocks off," Logan spat. "God, I can't even believe we're fighting about this. You want to sleep somewhere else because of this? Fine. Go ahead and run. I'm not going to fight with you about this though. It's bullshit and you know it."

"You think I did it to get my..." he started to repeat, then shoved Logan's shoulder. "Fuck you. What do you think I do, just wait til you're not around to do things? Do you...do you really think it's like cheating on you?"

"I think that you enjoy it a little to much, and this time you were enjoying it with someone else. It's supposed to be me, Jack," Logan said, his voice growing softer as he spoke, the fact that he was hurt finally showing.

"You're supposed to fight with me. That's how we work."

Jack finally heard what Logan was saying and it made him freeze.

"You don't fight with me anymore," he said quietly.

"You don't fight with me anymore either," Logan countered, looking annoyed and giving Jack a shove. "It used to be if I started back talking we'd roll around a bit until you lost it and dragged me into the playroom. You think I don't miss that? I just figured you weren't interested anymore, so I never said anything."

"I thought you were tired of playing rough," Jack replied. "And...I'm really nervous about, you know, abusing you. But something changed. Something's missing. I miss that passion. Don't you miss it?"

"When did I ever say I was tired of playing rough?" Logan asked. "And yeah, I miss it. I mean... I didn't think things were bad without it, but I did miss it. ...Have you not been enjoying how things are?"

"I love you but...I miss it a lot. We got married and things got..."

He didn't want to say boring because it wasn't that. It was just sedate. Ordinary. It was...

Logan looked down at his feet, suddenly feeling guilty- as if he'd done something wrong.

"Right. Settled," he said softly. "Sorry, I didn't know you felt like that."

He was quiet for a long moment and then turned away, not sure what to do.

Jack took the opportunity to step up behind him and wrap an arm around Logan, holding his chest and pulling the man back against his body.

"Remember that time I tied you up and hung you from the ceiling?" he asked softly. "Or all those times I had you bound and as soon as I let you go you started swinging? Remember fighting and fucking until we couldn't walk...or when you busted my nose and we still went to bed? What's happened to us, Logan?"

"Nothing happened, we just grew up a little. ...I remember those things. I loved them. I remember the times I got you back too. You'd tie me down, and as soon as I got free I'd turn it all around. I'd one-up you."

He sighed softly and turned in Jack's arms.

"We can still have that. I'm still yours now the way I was then. ...Nothing's changed."

"You promise?" Jack asked. He pulled at Logan's shirt so he could feel the man's bare back against his chest and he nuzzled the back of Logan's neck after he dropped the shirt on the floor.

And then his hand came up and clamped onto Logan's throat.

"Nothing's changed?"

Logan gasped, then growled.

"Nothing," he agreed, kicking the other man's shin and shoving him back hard.

Jack reached out and grabbed Logan by the hair and jerked, his other hand coming up to cover his bruised ribs.

"Hate when you kick me," he spat, kicking Logan in return.

"Then don't make me want to kick you," Logan hissed, growling and kicking Jack again.

He scowled and started to struggle harder, slapping the other man hard despite his bruises.

Jack grappled with him, grabbing hair and arms and slapping and kicking.

And then he sucker punched Logan in the gut and grabbed him to drag him to their spare room.

"Fuck!" Logan swore, struggling as the other man as he dragged him along. "Fucking prick," he growled, trying to twist free and nearly falling to his knees.

"As soon as I get free, I swear I'll kick your ass."

"All talk," Jack scoffed. He hooked an arm beneath Logan's and hoisted up, dragging him along to the darkened room.

"You always say you're going to kick my ass and you never do. Ever."

Which wasn't exactly true.Logan had worked him over well on more than one occasion. But with the struggling man in his arms like this, Jack couldn't help but taunt him.

"Bullshit I haven't," Logan snapped. "I swear to god, Jack, I'll make you eat those words."

He struggled harder and then whimpered as the other man hauled him deeper into the room. Jack was strong though, and Logan knew he wouldn't get free.

Jack got him through the door and kicked it shut. He jerked Logan back against him and bit into the man's neck. It made his jaw throb and he winced at the pain but it didn't keep him from sinking his teeth into Logan's neck.

And then he shoved Logan against the wall and had his hands all over him, opeing his jeans and pushing them down and touching him everywhere he could.

Logan gasped, quickly turning and twisting away with a glare.

He was trapped back against the wall, and he looked ready to brawl. "You gonna hurt me, Jack? I don't think you have the stomach for that any more."

He reached down and took hold of Logan by the balls and grinned wickedly.

"I still know how to hurt you," he said. "Let me get you naked and I'll hurt you until you're moaning for more."

Logan gasped as the other man held him by the balls, his attitude fading slightly.

"Prove it," he said softly.

Jack jerked him across the room and tossed him down on the bed.

"Strip out of that," he said, going to the table to pick up some lengths of island made rope that was rough and fibrous. He had plenty for what he wanted to do.

"Don't rush me," Logan snapped, hitting the mattress hard.

Slowly, he started to undress, keeping his eyes on Jack the whole time. Silently he was already plotting his revenge.
