Jack had plans to go work on the TARDIS, but nothing was going to happen before he got some coffee and maybe a papaya. He turned up his nose at the cheese, but took some of the bread and sat down to enjoy his light meal. It would keep him going until he was ready to scream at the damnable broken time ship.

"I don't need anything, Greg. Really," he smiled. Weird. Definitely weird.

"Are you sure? I really just want to..." House reached up and brushed hair away from Jack's face. "God I love you. What was my life like without you in it?"

He couldn't help but close his eyes. God, that felt good.

"I love you too. Really want to what?" he asked, pushing the food away.

"I just want... to do something to make you happy. Anything. You name it." He splayed his fingers over the back of Jack's neck and gently massaged the nape.

"Anything?" he smiled, turning to kiss Greg's wrist. He wasn't going to take advantage of him...this had to be some kind of island thing.

But he wasn't going to waste the offer either.

"Anything," House repeated, smiling. Looking a bit lovesick. Doe-eyed, even.

"Sit down and tell me why you love me," Jack asked, siding a chair out for him. "And don't talk about feeling young or anything about sex."

House beamed. That he could do.

"Because you don't bullshit anyone," House said. "Because the first time I met you you called me on my shitty attitude. Because you were so fucking strong after he hurt you. Because you trusted me... even from the beginning, with things that I know were really important. Because you don't care that I'm a cripple but you don't pretend it's not there either. Because I can see in your eyes that you've experienced more of the world than I could even dream of. Because there's a puzzle inside you. Because you love me for who I am and you don't want to fix me. Because... god, baby, I could go on and on, and none of that even has to do with how beautiful you are."

Jack wasn't sure what he'd expected, but it wasn't that. "...I...oh."

House's face fell. "Was that not the right thing to say?"

"I just didn't realize that that's what you felt. I...wow."

It was clearly the right thing to say...he was blushing darker than he ever had.

House's mouth curled into a slow smile. "Well I've been telling you I love you for months now! You thought I was just making it up? God you're cute when you blush."

That just made him duck his head. "...notsupposedtoblush," he muttered. It took him a minute before he could look up. "I love you. I...shit," he said, leaning in to kiss him again.

House sighed happily into the kiss and wrapped his arms tightly around Jack. He was pleased that he'd been able to say something to make Jack so happy.

It didn't take long before the sweet kiss he'd intended turned hungry and he clutched at Greg's shirt. "Love you so much, Greg," he gasped, ignoring the people who were coming and going through the kitchen, just looking at them like it was the sweetest thing they'd ever seen.

"I love you too, baby," House assured him, smiling into Jack's mouth. "Do you want to make love? God I'd love to make you so happy..."

Jack pushed up and pulled Greg along. "Make love? Oh, God," he said, grinning. Whatever was going on, Greg was closer to Doctor Sunshine than he thought. "Not today. Come on, though. Come back with me?"

House's face fell a little at that, but he still nodded, certainly not in the mood to deny Jack anything. "Okay, I'll come with you."

He just nodded and led Greg outside, walking close to him. "What do you want, Greg?"

House sighed happily and dipped his head so that it was leaning on Jack's shoulder briefly. "I want to hold you."

"Mmm, now that can be arranged," he grinned. "Want to climb into bed and just...hold me?"

"Yeah." House grinned, though then he leaned over and nuzzled Jack's ear. "But you're sure you don't want to...?"

"You know I always want to," he replied. He wasn't going to be able to keep on saying no of Greg didn't stop leaning in like that, though.

"Well we can just start with the holding, huh?" House said, smiling as they walked into the treehouse. When they got into his room, he kicked off his shoes and started unbuttoning his shirt.

"Let me, baby," he purred, undoing the bottom few and smoothing his hands over Greg's chest. "...probably doesn't sound the same coming from me, huh?"
