The day had gone okay, Jack had talked to some people, taken a trip to the waterfall, come back and had coffee, and now it was time to find somewhere to sleep. Jack walked with Logan and was keenly aware the younger man was upset. He could almost taste it/ THe tension grew as they made their way to the Hidden Hamlet to settle down for the night. Each of them carried a bag and some bedding and Jack figured it would be more than enough to crash at Joe's for a while.

"Logan, what's the matter," Jack said when they were almost there and he just couldn't stand the silence anymore. "Just talk to me. I promise I'll remember. I'm feeling a lot better."

"I hate when we can't," he murmured. "I hate getting hurt mostly because I can't be with you."

His free hand glided over Logan's clothes and then found a way beneath to smooth over warm skin. Logan felt so good. So solid He'd developed in the last year, more muscular, more massive. Jack loved how he felt.

"Trust me, that's not the worst part of you getting hurt," Logan said softly. "I was so worried," he gasped, freeing one hand from Jack's grip so he could stroke the other man's cheek and push back his hair.

"I love you so much. If I ever lost you... I don't know what I'd do, Jack. I just don't know. I was so... You didn't sound like yourself, and you looked so lost. I was scared. I was really scared that you'd never be okay again."

"What would you have done? If I was always forgetful? Would you have stayed with me? Pinned notes to my clothes and taken care of me? Or would it have been too much to take?" Jack asked. It was a fear that had replayed in his mind again and again during the storm. What if...

"I would have stayed," Logan said softly. "I wont lie to you, it would have been really fucking hard, and there would have been days I'd want to run away from it- but I would have stayed. I can't imagine leaving you."

"I'd always take care of you, too. No matter what," Jack replied. "You're mine. Always. Even if you forget all about me..." He smirked even though the memory was painful.

"I'll never forget you again, I swear," Logan replied, sitting up a little so he could kiss the other man.

Jack moaned softly and arched against Logan, holding onto him and tugging him closer.

"I love you, too," he gasped. "Love you so much, baby. Nothing will ever change that. Nothing."

"I know," Logan whispered, nipping at Jack's bottom lip and closing his eyes.

"God, it's so weird to be back here..."

"I know. Remember when I'd slip in here and we'd fuck all night? Back when I was your dirty secret?" Jack asked, going for Logan's throat. He tugged at Logan's clothes, slowly peeling him. It was barely dawn and the light was dim, just light out enough to see the outline of the man.

"I remember," Logan gasped, his chest aching a little at the memories. Those days had been so confusing, but he didn't regret them. Not even a little.

"I never knew if you were coming, or if you'd find someone else. I was so afraid to tell you I loved you. I thought if you knew I was falling for you, you'd walk away."

He'd never admitted that out loud before, not even to himself. But it was the truth. In the beginning Logan had bent over backwards for Jack, pretending it didn't matter when the other man fucked someone else- even going out and doing it himself to make it all feel okay.

"I was falling for you and I didn't know how to handle it. It seemed like I was drowning. You had me so wrapped up," Jack admitted softly. "Once I had you I just needed more of you. It didn't feel right if I didn't see you. Touch you." He paused and smiled. "Fight with you. I wonder if that blood stain is still all over the floor..."

"I never got all of it up," Logan replied, smiling a little in return and then laying back down.

"It's crazy how much has changed."

Jack peeled off his own shirt and then joined Logan, still insistently trying to get him out of his clothes. He pushed at his waistband, getting it down off the man's hips.

"It really is. It's crazy how much I love you. How long I've loved you. It's been...almost two and a half years. That's longer than I've ever been with anyone. Well, except that five year long two week time loop, but that just seemed like two weeks so it doesn't count."

Logan squirmed as Jack stripped him, and for a moment it was just like the old days, Jack with his stories and Logan with his inability to cooperate.

"Lilly is the only person I was with longer than this," he replied. "We were together nearly two years. But we broke up a lot. Like all the time."

He smiled and stretched as he let Jack pull his shirt off. "It wasn't like this though."

"I don't think anyone's ever had anything like this," Jack said, kissing Logan hard, desperately. He was working himself into a frenzy, impatient as he was to feel Logan's bare body against his own.

"Do you remember that time I tied you to a chair?" Logan gasped between kisses. "You were so angry. You couldn't stand being made to wait so long."

He ducked his head and kissed Jack's throat.

"Or the time I avoided you for over a week. You were so pissed. I thought you were really going to hurt me. I'd never seen you like that..."

He paused a beat and exhaled. "I was so hard that night."

"You don't piss me off like you used to," Jack grinned. "I'd have you hard all the time, scared of every move you made. God, that's messed up, isn't it? Wanting you off balance and aching for me. Just waiting for me to hit you and then bend you over and have you..."

The very idea wound him up and he used his body and a hand to hold Logan down so he could grope and taste him.

"You don't think it could be like that still?" Logan asked with a gasp.

It took him a moment to pull himself together, but once he did he was ready to play.

Pushing Jack back Logan spat right in the other man's face- something he hadn't done for a long time it seemed.

He used the distraction as a chance to free himself, and a moment later he was rolling then over and shoving Jack down. "I can still piss you off," he purred, wedging his knee between Jack's legs and threatening to do some damage.

"I know where all your buttons are still."

His pajama bottoms were resting dangerously low on his hips, leaving his tattoo on display. A permanent reminder of who he loved. Who he belonged too.

"I remember everything you taught me too," he purred, grabbing Jack by the throat as he spoke.

"You so badly wanted to make me your little soldier."

Jack caught Logan's arm in one hand and his hips with the other and drew his knee up, ready to roll them. Except Logan had positioned himself just right and this would be a real struggle. A real fight, not so token grappling match.

"I did make you into a little soldier," Jack countered, a hint of a sneer in his voice. "Used to be that you didn't know what you were doing. No challenge...I could kick your ass in under a minute."

"Bullshit," Logan growled, struggling to keep a firm hold on Jack.

"You've just gotten weaker."

Jack started to laugh and then he twisted hard and slapped Logan across the face as hard as he could manage.

"Let's see how weak you think I am," he said as he shifted his weight to throw Logan off.

Logan nearly fell, his grip loosening as he tried to fight back.

"I know how weak you are," he growled.

He took advantage of the little slip and jerked and twisted and hit Logan again as he struggled to get up. On his back with the younger man straddling him put him purely on defense and that would never do.

"You little shit," he growled, clawing and shoving to get himself in a better position. If he could only roll Logan off...

Logan stayed on top for as long as he could, struggling and fighting until he rolled onto his side.

"Son of a bitch," he spat.

Jack didn't hold back once he had better leverage. He hit Logan, not caring if he hit his arm or ribs or stomach. He was rough and fast and rolled until he could get away and get up on his knees. He rose over Logan and looked him over. It didn't take much fight to have his pajama bottoms bulged out. He reached down to try to adjust his cock but it didn't do much good.
